Sept 12<\/strong> – City Choir<\/a> begins! We begin another fabulous year with this beautiful community choir. Directors this year include yours truly, Sophia Grigoriadis, Waleed Abdulhamid, Patricia O’Callaghan, Gregory Oh and John Millard. This choir is for singers with open hearts, voices and minds!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

October 12-23 <\/strong>FreePlay<\/a> (Dylan Bell<\/a> and Suba Sankaran) embarks on their “Talk To Me” tour (named after their latest album), in the rural UK with presenters Carn To Cove<\/a>, Highlights North<\/a> and Spot On Lancashire<\/a>. Dec 2 <\/strong>\u201cThe most exciting vocal group in a generation,\u201d<\/em> Windborne\u2019s captivating show draws on the singers\u2019 deep roots in traditions of vocal harmony, while the absolute uniqueness of their artistic approach brings old songs into the present. Known for the innovation of their arrangements, their harmonies are bold and anything but predictable. Boston based, Windborne are adherents to folk music\u2019s long-time alliance with social activism, labor and civil rights, and other movements that champion the oppressed, the poor, and the disenfranchised. Suba Sankaran<\/strong> and Dylan Bell\u2019s Freeplay<\/strong> will support with their vocalizing a cappella and enhanced harmonies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
