Composer: Youssou n"dour
Arranger: Suba Sankaran
Voicing: SSAA
Difficulty level: medium, due to a lot of sung text (in Wolof language) and cross-rhythm challenges.
Notes: This is a celebratory song, in the Wolof language, from Youssou N'dour's album Egypt. It is arranged for SSAA and incorporates some vocal percussion cross-rhythms. I recommend a dedicated drummer to keep time throughout this piece. Thanks to Mark Duggan for introducing this piece to me and for providing the translation of text (english translation on last page of score).
