I am proud to be part of the Canwest Cabaret Fesitval as a featured artist, facilitator of the a cappella salon, and host of the collaboratory jam. I am performing on each of the four days:

Thursday, October 2 at 8:15 & Friday, October 3 at 8:45 at the Young Theatre
Inspired Eclecticism: An Evening with Suba Sankaran
I will be presenting a cross-section of my original compositions and lyrics, ranging from jazz to world fusion to gospel.
Special guests include my father, master drummer Trichy Sankaran, multi-instrumentalist Dylan Bell, tabla player Ed Hanley, percussionist Ken Shorley and vocalist Daniel Galessiere.

I will also be appearing in the A Cappella Cabaret on Saturday, October 4th at 7:15 & Sunday, October 5th at 7:00 in the Garland Cabaret Theatre. This intimate celebration of the human voice features a cappella 80s pop sensation Retrocity, the genre-bending FreePlay Duo (Suba Sankaran, Dylan Bell), Darbazi (beautifully haunting traditional polyphony from the Caucasus Georgia) and the MadriGALS (Renaissance music with a twist).

I will also be hosting the Collaboratory Jam on Sunday, October 5 at 10:00pm in the Baillie Theatre. This evening promises to be full of surprises!
