Working in collaboration with seven female singers: Marie-Josée Chartier, Katherine Duncanson, Anne Fauteux, Fides Krucker, Brenna MacCrimmon, Laurel MacDonald and Suba Sankaran from various performance backgrounds, Sara Angelucci presents a public performance entitled A Mourning Chorus that explores the sounds of disappearing North American song-birds through the historic framework of women’s public mourning rituals.
I’m honoured to have been composer/arranger/sound designer for Anita Majumdar’s Same Same But Different. Mostly covers of Bollywood hits, each song is carefully crafted and performed/recorded all a cappella (well, 98% of it).
